2013 FJ Cruiser

Feb 1st, 2022

"The Guzman" is officially mine. A new car is not your own until you have washed it yourself!I sold my 2007 FJ Cruiser, which had 89,000 miles on it, but now I have learned that that is just over break in for an FJ. I bought this 2013 model with 36,000 miles. They stopped making them in 2014, so this would be classified as a late model. It has so many features that my 2007 did not have, like the off-road package, upgraded stereo, backup camera, and must have Bluetooth. She is ready for some ADVENTURES!

2018 Lexus LS 500

Jan 11th, 2022

Kara's Lexus was almost 10 years old and we needed to get her a new one, so we found this 2018 coming out of a 3 year lease with only xxxx miles on it. We bought it for xxxxx when they were going brand new for xxxxx, if you could even find one because of Covid!

Tesla Model S P85

Nov 12th, 2014

Ever since I laid eyes on Tesla's converted Lotus sports car at the L.A. Auto Show, I was hooked. It took seeing a 2013 model outside a Chinese foot massage for me to order my own.

Lamborghini

I always wanted to drive a Lamborghini in the wild, so we rented this one in Las Vegas and drove it like we stole it.Nov 14 2012

2009 Lexus LS 460

We traded in my old LS 400 with almost 100,000 miles and bought this 2009 LS 460 out of a 3 year lease, the only way to buy a car today. If you buy it from the dealership, they guarantee the condition and give you extended warranty.

Company Cars

Jul 16th, 1974

This marked the beginning of a decade filled with some less-than-stellar company cars. The inaugural one was a station wagon that had me feeling like a real-life Clark Griswold from "Vacation." Cassandra's incredulous reaction summed it up perfectly, "Really? You're taking a picture of this heap?

1970 Challenger

Nov 6th, 1971

My ownership of this car is shrouded in mystery, as my knowledge about it is quite limited. I don't recall having it for an extended period. It seems my beloved Roadrunner encountered some trouble, though the details evade my memory. While it may not have been a Roadrunner, it certainly added a touch of elegance to the driveway.

1966 Mustang

Jan 6th, 1970

I traded in my vibrant yellow Nova for an extraordinary 1966 white 289 Mustang convertible—a true muscle car that etched its memories into my heart. The visceral experience of breaking the tires loose, the sound, and the intoxicating scent of burning rubber down Main Street remain vivid in my mind.

1965 Nova

Oct 17th, 1969

My inaugural purchase from a used car lot marked the acquisition of a distinctly aged 1965 bright yellow Nova. The sales receipt from October 17, 1969, reveals the bargain price of $355.00. However, the elation was short-lived as I soon received a fix-it ticket due to the car's myriad non-functional components. The documentation serves as a humorous reminder of my first foray into the world of used car ownership.

56 VW Bug

Sep 2nd, 1969

After I destroyed what was left of mom's Corvair, I bought this very used VW Bug.The ONLY good thing I can say is it was great on gas! I only owned it for a very few months.

1965 Corvair

Jul 9th, 1969

After the 57 Chevy rebuild hit a roadblock, my parents graciously handed me the keys to this car, signaling the end of its roadworthy days. Unfortunately, it was on its last leg.

My drivers license

Jul 2nd, 1969

Buckle up for a wild ride down memory lane because my driver's test story is nothing short of a rollercoaster! Picture this: the night before my big test, I decided to unwind with a bit of fun and, well, maybe a few too many drinks. The surprising twist? It turned out to be the secret sauce for acing my driver's test the next morning! Who knew relaxation had a liquid form?

1957 Chevy

Jan 12th, 1969

I was just 15 years old when I bought this 57 Chevy, my first car ever. I had high hopes of fixing it up to look like the one in this picture, but alas it needed more work than I had money. That was skinny "me" standing next to the left of the front of the car.
